Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the SignalRoster platform, website, and services (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform. SignalRoster reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the Platform following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Description of Service

SignalRoster is an AI-powered hiring and recruitment platform designed to connect employers, candidates, and recruiters. The Platform provides tools for job posting, candidate matching, resume screening, interview scheduling, and hiring collaboration. Our AI technology assists users by providing candidate recommendations, ranking, and insights to streamline the recruitment process. The Platform is provided on an "as-is" basis.

3. User Accounts

Registration

To use the Platform, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and password. SignalRoster is not liable for unauthorized access to your account due to your failure to maintain security.

User Roles

The Platform supports multiple user roles including employers, candidates, and recruiters. You must use only the role appropriate to your intended use. Your use is limited to the account type for which you registered.

Account Security

You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify SignalRoster immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach. Sharing credentials with others is prohibited.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Platform for any of the following purposes:

  • Creating fake, fraudulent, or duplicate accounts
  • Impersonating another person or entity
  • Scraping, crawling, or automating data extraction from the Platform
  • Harassment, discrimination, or abusive conduct toward other users
  • Posting false, misleading, or defamatory content
  • Violating any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or its systems
  • Interfering with or disrupting the Platform or its services
  • Spamming or sending unsolicited communications
  • Selling or transferring access to your account

Violation of this policy may result in account suspension or termination without refund.

5. Subscription & Billing

Paid Tiers

SignalRoster offers various subscription tiers with different features and pricing. By selecting a paid tier, you authorize SignalRoster to charge the specified amount to your payment method on a recurring basis according to your subscription plan.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. SignalRoster does not directly store your credit card information. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms and privacy policies.

Refund Policy

Subscriptions are non-refundable except as required by law. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. No refunds will be issued for partial months or unused subscription time.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription anytime through your account settings. Cancellation must be requested before the next billing date to avoid charges. Upon cancellation, your access to paid features will cease at the end of your billing period.

Billing Changes

SignalRoster reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes will apply to new billing cycles. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance of new pricing.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

SignalRoster uses artificial intelligence to generate recommendations, candidate rankings, and insights. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or biases and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for hiring decisions.

  • AI recommendations are suggestions only, not guarantees of candidate quality or fit
  • You remain responsible for all hiring decisions and outcomes
  • AI may exhibit bias; we encourage diverse evaluation of all candidates
  • Compliance with employment law is your responsibility
  • Human review of AI-generated content is strongly recommended

7. Intellectual Property Rights

Platform Ownership

SignalRoster owns all rights, title, and interest in the Platform, including software, code, design, features, functionality, and intellectual property. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Platform according to these terms.

Third-Party Content

The Platform may contain third-party content, plugins, and integrations. Your use is subject to their respective terms and licenses.

8. User-Generated Content

Ownership

You retain all rights to content you upload or create on the Platform, including resumes, job descriptions, and profile information. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of your content.

License Grant

By uploading or posting content, you grant SignalRoster a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and process your content for the purposes of providing and improving the Platform. This includes using your content to train and improve our AI models, with the option to opt out.

Candidate Data

Employers and recruiters agree that candidate information posted on the Platform will be treated confidentially and used only for recruitment purposes on SignalRoster. Candidates consent to their information being shared with relevant employers and recruiters on the Platform.

9. Privacy Policy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SignalRoster shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Platform is to stop using it. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on liability, so this limitation may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SignalRoster and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to:

  • Your use of or access to the Platform
  • Your violation of these Terms of Service
  • Your violation of applicable laws or regulations
  • Your user-generated content
  • Your infringement of third-party rights
  • Claims by third parties regarding hiring decisions or employment practices

12. Termination

By You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support or deleting your account through your settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

By SignalRoster

SignalRoster may terminate or suspend your account immediately and without notice if you violate these terms, engage in prohibited conduct, or pose a risk to the Platform or other users. Upon termination by SignalRoster, no refund will be issued.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your content may be deleted or retained according to our data retention policies. Sections that survive termination include Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Dispute Resolution.

13. Dispute Resolution

Binding Arbitration

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from or related to these Terms of Service or your use of the Platform shall be resolved by binding arbitration, rather than in court. You agree to submit to arbitration before a single arbitrator in Wilmington, Delaware.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

Class Action Waiver

You agree that any arbitration or legal action shall be conducted on an individual basis only. You waive any right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative action against SignalRoster.

14. Changes to Terms

SignalRoster may update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on the Platform and updating the "Effective Date." Your continued use following such notice constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
